Police officer Samuel Santos travels back in time from 2009 to 1977. His encounter with Spain during the transition to democracy will allow us to discover the way we were back then. The series focuses on the protagonist's search for his roots and his loved ones; it is the struggle of a man who is trapped in time; and, above all, it is a love story between a man from 2009 and a woman from 1977, two totally different people united by an accident.

Samuel Santos is an ambitious and determined 21st century Police Chief Inspector who works resolutely, intelligently and boldly to sweep the streets of Madrid clean of crime. After a terrible accident, he wakes up feeling very confused in 1977, having traveled back 32 years in time. Samuel will have to work as part a team of old-style police officers who, logically, have no sort of modern training in researching cases, and he'll have to confront the sexism, homophobia, etc. of the time.
