About the second season of “Entre Tierras”
Almost two decades have passed since María lost Manuel and was left to raise Nicolás and Manuela, the newborn daughter her husband never met. Over the years, she has managed to keep the Cervantes land afloat thanks to her courage and the help of Claudia, the rebellious farmworker and illegitimate daughter of Don Ramón.
María will suffer new losses and must continue fighting to prevent the land from being lost, but above all to ensure her children remain rooted and united to their family and heritage.
Times are changing: farmers migrate, labor shortages increase, and ambitious businessmen arrive, willing to exploit the land without attachment or ties, investing more in machinery than in people. For the first time in a long while, María becomes interested in someone, but Manuel’s memory will weigh heavily on her doubts as she tries to avoid the inevitable.
