The islanders Yaiza and Luis have been crowned winners of the second season of “Love Island” with 70% of the votes cast, beating the couple formed by Ruth and Alberto. After more than a month and a half of getting to know each other and going through ups and downs, Yaiza and Luis have taken home the final prize.
Cristina Pedroche brought the finalist couples together to announce the audience’s decision on “Love Island,” where viewers voted through the app to choose this season’s winning couple.
After learning the result, the couple embraced emotionally, and later in the night Luis and Yaiza each chose an envelope. Upon opening them, Luis found €25,000 while Yaiza found a heart. Luis then decided to share the prize with Yaiza, and they left together as a couple.
The second season of “Love Island” concludes with Cristina Pedroche as host, airing on the Neox channel.
Produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia Televisión and based on the original format by ITV Studios and Motion Content Group, this second season premiered on May 22 and ended on June 30 on Neox, the leading youth-focused channel. It aired five episodes per week and was also available on Atresplayer Premium.
