La Moderna, the new daily series for the afternoon slot on La 1, places strong emphasis on music throughout its storytelling. The series is co-produced by RTVE and Boomerang TV, and is based on the novel “Tea Rooms” by Luisa Carnés, a key figure of the Generation of ’27. Its main theme song is performed by Pastora Soler and composed by Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson. The track, titled “La Moderna”, was specially created for the series and for Pastora Soler.

The song reflects the central love story that unfolds in the elegant tea salon that gives the series its name, reinforcing the emotional tone of the fiction.
