On Saturday, July 8, the “La Voz Kids” Grand Finale took place. In a night full of emotions, young Rubén Franco and his coach Sebastián Yatra were crowned winners of this edition of the Antena 3 program, produced by Boomerang TV.
In the final stretch of the show, memorable performances were seen in which the coaches sang alongside their finalists. Rosario performed ‘Como si nada’ with Amanda, David Bisbal sang ‘Se nos rompió el amor’ with Lucía, Aitana performed ‘Otra vez’ with Manuela, and Sebastián Yatra and Rubén sang ‘Quererte bonito’. After these performances, it was the public who chose the winner of “La Voz Kids”.
Rubén is 11 years old, from Huelva, and a passionate fan of Holy Week traditions and the Star Wars saga. In the Blind Auditions, he achieved a full turn with the song “La niña de fuego” by Manolo Caracol and chose David Bisbal’s team, who at that time had Pablo López as coach. It was during the Battles when Sebastián Yatra and Rayden decided to steal this talented flamenco singer and take him to the final, where he ended up winning.
Rubén, very emotional, thanked the audience for choosing him as the winner. His coach, Sebastián Yatra, commented: “Rubén is the true representation of what ‘La Voz Kids’ is. He is a child with personality; when you see him, you don’t expect him to have that powerful voice. He also has that touch of magic that is exactly what ‘La Voz Kids’ is about. You never know who you are going to find.”
The fourth season of ‘La Voz Kids’ ended as the leader of Saturday night ratings, with an average of 13.2%, 1,216,000 viewers, and 4,007,000 unique viewers per broadcast.
