“Perdiendo el juicio” successfully concludes its first season this Thursday on Antena 3. The final episode airs at 11:00 PM, featuring a major plot twist and the long-awaited trial of Daniela. Crowned as the most-watched Spanish Prime Time series, Boomerang TV is already working on the second season.
The new season is currently in development and will include new storylines, conflicts, and twists that expand the show’s universe. With this renewal, Atresmedia reinforces its commitment to Spanish fiction and to stories that combine quality, entertainment, and social relevance, consolidating the creative and artistic talent of the national audiovisual sector.
After its great success on atresplayer, the series has also captivated Antena 3 viewers. With a 10.2% audience share and more than 1.8 million unique viewers, its strong performance extends to delayed viewing, where it gains an additional 200,000 viewers per episode, throughout the entire linear broadcast.
Led by Elena Rivera, “Perdiendo el juicio” has won over audiences with its mix of legal drama and personal storytelling. In the final episode of the season
The decisive day arrives. Daniela’s trial begins, with Amanda leading a defense that lacks solid supporting evidence. Sara, in her role as antagonist and driven by resentment, portrays Daniela as a true “black widow” in court.
In a calculated low blow aimed at completely destabilizing Amanda during the trial, Sara corners her in the bathroom to confess that she is pregnant with César’s child. Amanda must fight tooth and nail against her OCD, extreme stress, and her rival’s cruelty to save her sister’s freedom and her own sanity.
Following the succes of "Alba"
Antena 3 once again reunites much of the team behind “Alba” in “Perdiendo el juicio,” one of the biggest Spanish fiction hits of recent years both in Spain and internationally.
Elena Rivera, winner of the Ondas Award for her work in “Alba,” leads this new series produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia, with Luis Santamaría as executive producer.
Montse García also returns as Head of Fiction at Atresmedia, and writers Susana López Rubio and Javier Holgado are once again part of the project.
This is not the only recent success from the partnership between Atresmedia and Boomerang TV, as the same team was also behind “Entre Tierras,” starring Megan Montaner, which became the most-watched Prime Time series of 2024 and has already been renewed for a second season. It premiered on atresplayer on March 15 before its broadcast on Antena 3.
