La Moderna welcomes Miguel Ángel Muñoz, Begoña Maestre, and Álex Adrover, who join the cast of the RTVE series produced in collaboration with Boomerang TV. Their characters will begin appearing on screen in the coming weeks.
These new additions will arrive in the second season of the series, which has recently started filming, joining the main cast led by Helena Ezquerro, Almagro San Miguel, Stéphanie Magnin, Teresa Hurtado de Ory, Berta Galo, Llorenç González, and Alba Gutiérrez, among others.

La Moderna transports viewers to 1930s Madrid and tells the stories of the employees and customers of a distinguished, centrally located tea room. Based on the novel Tea Rooms by Luisa Carnés, it portrays a fascinating era through the daily lives of workers and patrons of a tea salon near Puerta del Sol: new times, major social transformations, and also moments of glamour and refined living.
Luis Santamaría and Humberto Miró lead the production, with direction by Liliana Bocanegra, Isaac Cantero, Pedro Martínez, and David Montoya.
