The 73rd edition of the San Sebastián Film Festival hosted the world premiere of “La suerte. Una serie de casualidades”, the new Disney+ production by Boomerang TV. The series was presented out of competition as part of the Official Selection’s special screenings and will be released exclusively on the platform on October 8.
The premiere was attended by directors Paco Plaza (Verónica, REC) and Pablo Guerrero (Alba, Entre tierras), along with lead actors Ricardo Gómez (La ruta, Cuéntame cómo pasó) and Óscar Jaenada (Camarón, Cantinflas). Other cast members were also present, including Carlos Bernardino, Óscar Higares, and Pedro Bachura; screenwriters Diana Rojo and Borja González Santaolalla; Luis Santamaría from Boomerang TV; Disney+ executive producer Alejandra Arostegui; and Sofia Fábregas, Vice President of Original Production for Disney+ Spain.
"La suerte. Una serie de casualidades" is a comedy created by Plaza and Guerrero and starring Gómez and Jaenada. The cast also includes actors such as Jason Fernández, Óscar Reyes, Almudena Amor, Almudena Cid, Diana Peñalver, Aria Bedmar, and Manuel Morón, among others.
