Jaime Ondarza Joins Mediawan as Advisor to Elisabeth d’Arvieu and Assumes Role as Interim CEO of Boomerang TV
Jaime Ondarza has been appointed as an advisor to Elisabeth d’Arvieu, CEO of Mediawan Pictures, and will also take on the role of interim CEO of Boomerang TV, one of Spain’s leading audiovisual production companies. Ondarza will report directly to Elisabeth d’Arvieu and work closely with Mónica Galer, President of Mediawan’s activities in Spain.
Ondarza brings over 26 years of international experience in the media and entertainment industry. He has held senior positions across the EMEA region, including CEO for Southern Europe and Israel at Fremantle (until April 2024), Executive Vice President and CEO of Paramount for Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Senior Vice President and General Manager of WarnerMedia for Southern Europe and Africa, and CEO of Boing, a joint venture between Mediaset and Warner Media. Throughout his career, he has successfully launched and developed new businesses and brands that have become benchmarks in the audiovisual sector.
Before entering the television industry, Ondarza worked at top advertising agencies, including Pirella-Gottsche-Lowe, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Young & Rubicam. Prior to joining Mediawan, he worked as an independent consultant and producer and currently serves as a professor at LUISS University in Rome (Master’s in Creative Industries Management).
