About "Entre tierras"
María (Megan Montaner), an Andalusian woman devoted to caring for her family since her father’s death, decides to sacrifice herself for them and agrees to marry a landowner from La Mancha who arrives in her village looking for a wife, in exchange for securing her mother’s and siblings’ wellbeing and future.
She leaves behind her homeland, her family, and the promise of love to a man who emigrated to Germany and was supposed to return to marry her, but years have passed without news. Now over thirty, she has lost hope of his return. What María does not know is that the wedding she is taking part in is by proxy, and she is actually marrying Manuel (Unax Ugalde), the nephew of Ramón (Juanjo Puigcorbé), who is unaware of the trap his uncle has set for him.
