El Diario de Jorge Renewed for 92 Additional Episodes Following Historic Ratings
The innovative talk show hosted by Jorge Javier Vázquez on Telecinco’s afternoon lineup set a historic record in April.
Telecinco will continue to feature new and extraordinary stories—emotional, funny, and surprising experiences—told firsthand by their protagonists in the upcoming episodes of El Diario de Jorge, with Jorge Javier Vázquez as host. The series will return with 92 more episodes, marking the most extensive renewal in the program’s history.
Produced by Boomerang TV for Mediaset España, the talk show reaches this milestone at the peak of its success. In April, it achieved an 11% audience share with 782,000 viewers, breaking its historic records for both share and monthly viewership. With these figures, the program came within just two-tenths of the top spot in its time slot and ranked as the most-watched show among the commercial target (10.6%) and viewers aged 13 to 54, performing particularly strongly in the 25-44 demographic (11.6%).
April also saw the show record five of its highest-rated episodes ever and four of the five episodes with the largest audience numbers in its history.
The program’s upward trajectory has accelerated notably since it moved to its new afternoon time slot on Telecinco in February, starting at 6:30 p.m.
