“El Diario de Jorge” Christmas Eve Special

“El Diario de Jorge” becomes the first talk show to incorporate AI-generated testimonies in its Christmas Eve special, where guests will be surprised with journeys to the past, magical reunions, and moments impossible to recreate in the present.

Family photographs will be brought to ‘life’ through artificial intelligence, making it possible to ‘revive’ moments and reunions that would otherwise be impossible today. Guests on the Christmas Eve special of “El Diario de Jorge,” hosted by Jorge Javier Vázquez on Telecinco on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 24, will be surprised with a series of emotional journeys into the past created through AI. These experiences will allow them to interact with their ‘past selves’ and even receive comfort from loved ones who passed away years ago. With this, the show becomes the first talk show to integrate artificial intelligence into its testimonies.

Among the stories featured is that of Celina, an Argentine grandmother whose life has been marked by two tragic events: the accidental death of her son Mauro and the departure of her other son, Fernando, to Spain in search of a better future. With the help of her eldest granddaughter, Celina will appear on set hoping to reunite with her son and her three grandchildren after more than a decade apart, and to relive a moment that now exists only in her memory: the embrace between her two sons.

With the help of Jesús, a young caregiver for the elderly, and Santa Claus, the program will also surprise Isabel, an 84-year-old woman for whom Christmas is a time of sadness due to the loss of her husband and the absence of her only daughter, who lives in Italy. Through her wedding photos, Isabel will experience a magical reunion with the love of her life, and will also be reunited with her daughter, who has just arrived from Italy, finally giving her the long-awaited embrace she has dreamed of for years.
