Produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia Televisión, La Voz is one of the biggest music formats worldwide.

La Voz will return to Antena 3 stronger than ever. Antena 3 is already preparing the next adult edition of the most successful international talent show. Presented by Eva González, La Voz will begin recording its third season on Antena 3 in the coming weeks, after establishing itself as a ratings success.

Alejandro Sanz, Luis Fonsi, Malú, and Pablo Alborán will be the coaches of this powerful edition of La Voz, which promises more excitement, more spectacle, and much more talent. Four outstanding artists from the national and international scene, who top the sales charts, will be responsible for turning their chairs on the La Voz stage.

Alejandro Sanz, Luis Fonsi, and Malú are already familiar with the format and have experienced it from the inside in previous years. For Pablo Alborán, however, this will be his first time as a coach on La Voz. The successful artist thus becomes part of the Antena 3 program family.

La Voz, the most-watched music talent show last year

Produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia Televisión, La Voz remains in excellent shape and last year was crowned the most-watched talent show on television. It also closed its season with a highly successful finale, achieving a season record: it was the absolute leader with a 20.8% audience share and the most-watched prime-time program with 2,704,000 viewers, its best finale on Antena 3 and its best result since February 12, 2019.

The Antena 3 program also maintained an average audience share of 18.3% on Friday nights in its latest season, with 2,308,000 viewers.

The talent show improved its results in the commercial target, viewers most valued by advertisers, reaching an 18.5% share. It stood out particularly among young audiences, achieving an impressive 24.3%, and among women (19.9%).

Alejandro Sanz

With more than 25 million records sold throughout his career, Alejandro Sanz is the Spanish artist with the highest number of Grammy Awards in history, with a total of 4, as well as 25 Latin Grammy Awards. In 2017, he was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as Person of the Year, in recognition of his career and his significant philanthropic contributions.

From his debut in 1991 (Viviendo Deprisa) to his latest release (#ElDisco, 2019), Alejandro Sanz has released 18 albums, all of which have achieved multi-Platinum status in Spain, Latin America, and the United States.

Throughout his career, Alejandro Sanz has collaborated with some of the most important national and international artists. Among many notable honors, he has received the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Vision Award granted by the White House through the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and the ASCAP Award (from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) for his outstanding contribution to Latin music. In 2013, he was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the prestigious Berklee College of Music in recognition of his contribution to music and international culture.

A social activist, Alejandro Sanz has also been recognized for his strong involvement with non-governmental organizations such as Save the Children, Greenpeace, and Médecins Sans Frontières. A pioneer in the use of social media, with more than nineteen million followers on Twitter, eight million on Facebook, and nearly six million on Instagram, his global influence builds bridges between Spain and the Americas.

During 2020, his relationship with fans became especially close from the beginning of the pandemic. As early as March, and spontaneously, he offered the first performance on a digital platform via YouTube: #LaGiraSeQuedaEnCasa, which has been viewed nearly five million times to date.

A week later, on March 21, the song #ElMundoFuera was released, which also marked the beginning of a documentary film project of the same name. In it, the artist presents a new perspective on the historic events experienced during that year. Through a platform where anyone in the world could share their videos and show their personal view of lockdown, 4,500 videos were received, totaling more than 1,200 hours of footage. This created the largest collaborative project by a Spanish-language artist—an unprecedented audiovisual journey built through first-person portraits of life itself, a sea of emotions and hope where creativity, learning, and Alejandro Sanz’s music come together in a film in which, in one way or another, we can all see ourselves reflected: El Mundo Fuera.

Luis Fonsi, a global artist, musician, composer, and producer from Puerto Rico, is one of the leading figures in Latin music of his generation, with more than 22 years of a successful artistic career.

His unique and undeniable talent, along with his extensive list of hit songs, has made him one of the most influential and successful artists in music, breaking language barriers, crossing borders, and captivating millions of people worldwide.

In addition, Fonsi broke seven Guinness World Records thanks to the global reach of his hit Despacito.

His ninth album, Vida, debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums” chart and was certified double diamond with more than 1.3 million copies sold in the United States alone. Four singles from Vida—including Despacito (featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber), Échame La Culpa (with Demi Lovato), Calypso (with Stefflon Don), and Impossible (with Ozuna)—reached number 1 on the Billboard charts. Since its release in February 2019, Vida has been nominated for the GRAMMY Awards, Latin GRAMMY Awards, Latin American Music Awards, Premio Lo Nuestro, and the Billboard Latin Music Awards, among others.

After conquering the world with Vida, Fonsi continued releasing successful singles that remain highly popular on the charts, including Date La Vuelta (with Nicky Jam and Sebastián Yatra), Girasoles, Perfecta (with Farruko), and Vacío (with Rauw Alejandro). He has also collaborated on songs by other artists, including La Puerta by Carlos Arroyo and Pues by R3hab and Sean Paul.

During February and March, Fonsi was selected as a battle advisor for the team of American artist Kelly Clarkson on The Voice, broadcast on NBC.

Over the past 15 years, Fonsi has served as spokesperson for the St. Jude “Thanks and Giving” campaign for the Hispanic community. Following the devastating Hurricane Maria, the international artist, through the Luis Fonsi Foundation, has worked intensively to help affected communities by donating basic supplies and medicines, as well as building homes in the La Perla neighborhood.

Malú stands out for having one of the best voices in the Spanish music scene, as well as for her powerful and carefully crafted live performances. Since the beginning of her career, she has toured major venues, consistently selling out shows. With her Tour Sí, she broke records by becoming the only Spanish female artist to fill the WiZink Center four times during the same tour. This tour became the most attended of its kind, with more than 450,000 people in 2014 and around 600,000 across the entire tour. In November 2015, Malú released her album Caos, one of her most positive and energetic records, which reached number 1 in both albums and singles charts during pre-sales.

After her latest album Oxígeno, with which she once again topped the sales charts, Malú is currently working on her next project, expected to be released this year. This highly anticipated new work is set to continue captivating and moving her audience.

Malú has also been recognized for her involvement in various charitable causes, actively collaborating with organizations such as Cruz Roja, UNICEF, Save the Children, and Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer. His latest album, Vértigo, reached number 1 in sales for four consecutive weeks and closed 2020 as the best-selling physical album in Spain. The Spanish artist continues to break records and win over new fans as a key figure in this new season.

Vértigo contains 11 original songs and an acoustic version of his first single Si hubieras querido. Among these tracks, he includes sound fragments that connect them, creating a special cohesion throughout the album. He once again collaborates with producer Julio Reyes Copello, widely recognized across the Americas (having worked with Alejandro Sanz, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, among others). On this occasion, Pablo Alborán also co-produces several songs, two of them with Federico Vindver (known for working with Coldplay and Kanye West).
