“Acacias 38” nominated for Best Daily Fiction at the MIM Series Awards

The MIM Series Awards are returning for their ninth edition with their well-known awards ceremony. “Acacias 38”, a Boomerang TV production for RTVE, has once again been nominated for the DAMA Award for Best Daily Fiction at the MIM Awards. In 2019, “Acacias 38” won the MIM Award for Best Daily Series, and in this edition, the jury has once again selected it as a finalist in this category.

The MIM Series Awards recognize each year the best of Spanish television fiction of the season. The organization, driven by DAMA, presents the MIM selection, which highlights the most outstanding productions broadcast that season. Categories include the most notable works across drama, comedy, TV movies or miniseries, and daily series, including writing, directing, and both female and male performances in drama and comedy.

In addition, the MIM Series Awards each year present a special prize for artistic contribution to television fiction. They also support emerging talent by awarding a New Talent prize, focusing on promising new faces.

“Acacias 38” is a Boomerang TV production that has aired for more than five years on TVE. Set in 1913, it tells the story of a bourgeois building in the early 20th century, located in a neighborhood full of varied situations with stories of love, jealousy, passion, revenge, and hate.
