The Coaches on “The Voice” Finish Picking Their Teams

The Auditions phase ended Friday with an exciting night packed full of surprises where the coaches had to finish picking their teams.

Malú already already finished picking her team of 14 artists last week, so in this last gala at the Auditions she got to enjoy the performances with no pressure or commitments.

Luis Fonsi, Second Coach to Decide His Team.

The Puerto Rican coach was the second to finish chosing his team. He started the gala with two voices, and it didn’t take him long to find them.

He was impressed by the lyrical quality of Irina’s voice and by the potential Karla Ferri shows in her rendition of a song by Sia. He also sang “Imagíname sin ti” with Karla. With their impressive performances, these two talents have taken the final spots on Luis Fonsi’s team.

This was a very special moment for the coach, who now has a full team of 14 talents.

Four Very Talented Voices for Pablo López

Pablo López was the coach with more spots left on his team, but he managed to pick his 14 talents before Antonio Orozco did.

Jessica was the first voice that won him over tonight. The youngster captivated him with her guitar and her version of Briney Spears’ “Toxic.”

Paula González moved coaches with her impressive voice. The talent had a lot to convey in her interpretation of Tini’s “Pa.” This youngster was the reason Orozco suffered the fastest superblock in the history of the format.

Italian contestant Fede Fend was the third voice to win Pablo López’s heart. Pablo did not hesitate to press the button after hearing this street musician sing the way he sings.

Danel Arteaga was the last voice picked for Pablo López’s team. This 20-year-old won everyone over with his rendition of “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word,” and was the pick that completed López’s team.

Antonio Orozco, Last Coach to Finish Picking His Team

Antonio Orozco was the last coach to finish picking his 14 artists, even though he had one spot less than his friend Pablo López.

The artist from Catalonia had three free spots that he gradually started filling in. The coach has picked Patricia’s incredible voice. The talent was so immersed in her performance that she didn’t realize the coach had swiveled around in his chair.

Orozco also picked Santiago, who captivated him with a song by Serrat. And, finally, he rounded off his team with Iva. The coach took his time and pressed the button at the last possible moment.

Malú, Luis Fonsi, Pablo López, and Antonio Orozco now have full teams ready to compete in the Battles on “The Voice,” but they won’t be alone: Mika, Rosario, Prince Royce, and Dani Fernández will come help our coaches make their toughest decisions in this edition.
