“The Voice Senior” Premieres Before an Audience of 2.4 Million (16.5%), Becoming the Most-Watched Telecast of the Day on Antena 3

The first night of the Blind Auditions on “The Voice Senior” was the most-watched telecast of the day on Antena 3, drawing 2,418,000 viewers and reaching a 16.5% share of the audience.

The show produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia led among audiences over age 64 with a whopping 22.1% share and did especially well among female viewers with a solid 19.5% share.

The talent show—which features coaches David Bisbal, Paulina Rubio, Pablo López, and Antonio Orozco—attained its most watched minute at 11:27 p.m., when it drew 2,823,000 viewers (18.1%), and reached peak ratings of up to a 20.7% share.

In regional markets, the show led in La Rioja (29.7%), Valencia (22.3%), the Canary Islands (21.5%), the Balearic Islands (19.8%), Madrid (19.2%), the Basque Country (15.7%), and Catalonia (15.2%).

On social networks, the premiere of “The Voice Senior” ranked fourth in the list of national trends with over 5,727 Tweets and remained among the Top 5 Trending Topics for over five hours with its official hashtag #LaVozSeniors.
