“The Voice Senior” grows to a 15.1% share on its first night of the Battles, drawing 1,938,000 viewers.
For the fifth week in a row, the music show produced by Boomerang TV for Atresmedia managed to lead among viewers over age 64 with a whopping 22.5% share and did outstandingly well among female auidences with an impressive 17.8% share.
The talent show—which features Pablo López, Paulina Rubio, Luis Fonsi and Antonio Orozco as coaches and, in this new stage, Tomatito, Antonio Carmona, Bustamante and José Mercé as assistant coaches—attained its most-watched minute at 11:33 p.m., when it drew 2,493,000 viewers (16.8%), and reached peaks of up to a 19.6% share.
By regions, the show led in the Balearic Islands (23%), La Rioja (21.6%) and the Canary Islands (21.3%). It also did outstandingly well in Murcia (18.9%) and Andalusia (17.4%).
On social networks, the show hosted by Eva González ranked third in the list of national trends with over 2,237 Tweets, remaining among the Top 5 Trending Topics for over five hours with the official hashtag #LaVozSenior5.
