“The Voice” Gets Two IRIS Award Nominations

“The Voice” is a finalist in two categories: Best Entertainment Production and Best Technical Direction.

Once again this year, the Academy of Television and Audiovisual Arts and Sciences has announced the list of professionals and formats that have been shortlisted for the 2023 Iris Awards. These candidates have been chosen from among the more than 622 nominations submitted by broadcasters, content platforms, production companies, and Academy members themselves, 200 more nominations than in the previous edition. 

In this edition, Boomerang TV has received two nominations. “The Voice”—the hit ITV Studios format produced by Boomerang TV for Antena 3—has once again become an IRIS Awards nominee. The show’s production team is a finalist in the Best Entertainment Production category, and Álvaro Santamarina, Gerardo Ferreras, and Juanma Beautell are also up for Best Technical Direction.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 21—World Television Day.
