The Premiere of “The Voice” on Antena 3 Sweeps Ratings with Nearly 4 Million Viewers and a 25% Share
The premiere of “The Voice” on Antena 3 became Monday’s most watched broadcast, sweeping the ratings in its debut with 3,970,000 viewers and a 25% share of the audience; it’s best premiere since 2015.
The music talent show produced by Boomerang TV and Atresmedia Televisión registered its golden minute of the day at 11:12 p.m., when Palomy chose Pablo López as her coach and 4,422,000 viewers (26%) gathered to watch. The show reached ratings peaks of up to a 29.2% share. Moreover, the format obtained 7.5 million hits, adding 3.5 points to the network’s share Monday (15.3%).
The show, which features Pablo López, Paulina Rubio, Luis Fonsi and Antonio Orozco as coaches, led among all targets, doing especially well among young audiences with a marvelous 30.7% share, and among the target audience with a spectacular 28%.
By geographical areas, the show swept the ratings in fourteen of the seventeen regional markets, with an especially strong following in Andalusia (32.8%), Valencia (30.5%), Cantabria (35.9%) and Murcia (31.9%).
The first night of the Blind Auditions on “The Voice” was a social network phenomenon, obtaining over 32,900 Tweets and reaching ranking first among both national and global Trending Topics. The show hosted by Eva González remained number one in the Spanish rankings for over seven hours with its official hashtag, #LaVozAntena3. It also trended with Paulina (11,400 Tweets), Fonsi (3,362), Pablo López (3,001) and Antonio Orozco.
