Rubén Franco and Sebastián Yatra Proclaimed Winners of “The Voice Kids”

On Saturday, July 8, “The Voice Kids” held its Grand Finale. In an exciting night, young Rubén Franco and his coach, Sebastián Yatra, were proclaimed winners of this latest edition of the Antena 3 show produced by Boomerang TV.

During the show’s final stretch, we saw memorable performances in which the coaches sang with their finalists. Rosario sang “Como si nada” with Amanda; David Bisbal did “Se nos rompió el amor” with Lucía; Aitana performed “Otra vez” with Manuela, and Sebastián Yatra and Rubén sang “Quererte bonito”. Following these performances, it was up to the audience to choose the winner of “The Voice Kids”.

Ruben is an 11-year-old from Huelva who is passionate about Holy Week and the Star Wars saga. During the Blind Auditions, he won over all four coaches with Manolo Caracol’s song “La niña de fuego” and decided to join David Bisbal's team, whose coach at the time was Pablo López. It was during the Battles when Sebastián Yatra and Rayden decided to steal this talented flamenco singer and take him to the finals, where he came out the winner.

Rubén thanked the audience for choosing him as the winner. And his coach, Sebastián Yatra, affirmed that “Rubén embodies what ‘The Voice Kids’ is all about. He is a boy with a strong personality, and you would never guess from seeing him that he also has such a powerful voice. He also has that touch of magic that ‘The Voice Kids’ manages to capture. You never know who you’ll find.”

The fourth edition of “The Voice Kids” ends as the leader on Saturday nights, with an average 13.2% share, 1,216,000 viewers and 4,007,000 unique viewers per broadcast.
