OCTAVI PUJADES, LEONOR MARTÍN, AND ALEJANDRO SIGÜENZA ARE THE NEW NEIGHBORS ON “ACACIAS 38”
The actors will join the series over the next few weeks to play Pascual, Dori, and Fidel, respectively.
"Acacias 38" airs Monday through Thursday at 06:15 p.m. on La1.
After jumping ahead to the 1920s, “Acacias 38” will continue enriching its storylines with new neighbors and new stories of love and intrigue. The drama produced by Boomerang TV for RTVE welcomes Leonor Martín (as Felipe’s new nurse, Dori), Alejandro Sigüenza (as Fidel, a man who lost his son in the attack) and Octavi Pujades (as Pascual, owner of the restaurant together with his son Guillermo and mother Inma).
Adoración Navarro (Leonor Martín)
Starting Thursday, January 28, Dori joins Felipe’s household to work as his nurse. Marina recommended her for the job. Dori is charming and is patient enough to put up with Felipe’s rebuffs. Gradually, thanks to her excellent care, Felipe begins to recover, and Dori gains his trust. But Ignacio finds the nurse’s unorthodox methods alarming.
Fidel Soria (Alejandro Sigüenza)
Next week, viewers will meet Fidel, a man who has always enjoyed a privileged position. Now, he is Deputy Director at the Police Department's General Directorate of Security. Under a veneer of charm, he hides a strict and stern character. Fidel’s cold and ruthless nature was forged when he lost his wife and four-year-old son in the attack on Acacias, the same attack in which Antoñito and Carmen were killed. This circumstance draws him closer to the Palacios family, where Lolita and Ramón offer some solace.
Pascual Sacristán (Octavi Pujades)
Starting February 9, Pascual, a serious man who is disillusioned with life since losing his wife Amelia in a tragic accident, will join the scene. Pascual arrives at Acacias intent on running the rice restaurant he bought in hopes of starting a new life with his mother Inma and his son Guillermo. His character is marked by tragedy, and he is reluctant to allow his son to establish a romantic relationship.
