Maite Zaldúa Is the New Neighbor About to Revolutionize “Acacias 38”
Ylenia Baglietto joins the TVE afternoon drama to play Armando Caballero's niece. The new arrival is an artist from Paris who scandalizes the neighborhood and discovers Camino's talent for drawing.
Acacias welcomes a new neighbor. Maite Zaldúa, a young artist with revolutionary ideas for the time, will appear on the series produced by Boomerang TV starting Monday, November 4th. Ylenia Baglietto is the actress in charge of playing this new character, Armando Caballero’s niece, in the drama that airs Monday through Friday on TVE’s La1.
The young woman arrives in Acacias from Paris to deal with an inheritance. The Hidalgos will introduce the new neighbor to the neighborhood. The young woman will rent a studio from Liberto and meet Camino at the Nuevo Siglo XX Restaurant one day. The artist discovers that Felicia's daughter has an innate talent for drawing, and offers to give her lessons.

Armando Caballero’s niece. She focused her talent on painting, where she gradually made a name for herself, gaining recognition as an artist from her contemporaries. Her ideas about feminism and women's emancipation clash with the conventions of Acacias and the neighbors see her as a rebellious woman, something intolerable at the time. After settling into her new neighborhood, Mayte meets Camino and starts teaching the young Pasamar who has a gift for painting.
