“Los protegidos: A.D.N.” arranca rodaje de su segunda temporada.
“A Normal Family: DNA” has started shooting its second season after being recognized as one of the best series of the previous year.
The series’ leading actors Antonio Garrido, Ana Fernández, Luis Fernández, Mario Marzo, Daniel Avilés, Gracia Olayo, Óscar Ladoire, Maripaz Sagayo, Maggie García, Carlotta Cosials, Cosette Silguero, and Javier Mendo will continue in this second season. Marta Torné, Esmeralda Moya, and Raúl Mérida will resume playing the characters they first brought to life in the classic “A Normal Family” as the main additions to the plot.
Emilio Buale, Irina Bravo, Gabriela Andrada, Anna Nacher, José Sospedra, Ángel Martínez, and Xavi Caudevilla round off the cast for this second season.
“A Normal Family: DNA” is a Boomerang TV production, in conjunction with Buendía Estudios, for Atresmedia Televisión. Montse García, Sonia Martínez, Jorge Redondo, and Carlos García Miranda are the executive producers for the series, working alongside screenwriters Carlos García Miranda and Luis Gamboa and directors Pablo Guerrero and Daniel Romero. Teddy Villalba and Pepe Ripoll are in charge of production management. The series will also be available outside Spain through ATRESplayer PREMIUM Internacional and Atreseries Internacional.
The series aired on Antena 3 between 2010 and 2012, drawing an average of over 3 million viewers and helping to launch several promising young actors to stardom.
This second season of “A Normal Family: DNA” opens with Sandra and Culebra’s wedding. This is one of the most long-awaited events for loyal fans of the series and will serve to reunite the family.
The story opens with a group of people trying to elude a mysterious organization called the Elephant Clan that is trying to track them down by pretending to be a family, the Castillos. The motive behind this is none other than the fact that many of the "family" members have supernatural powers. Living like a real family in hiding, the group ultimately ends up loving each other as if their fantasy were actually true. Nevertheless, as time goes on, the members of this “family” take different paths.
In “A Normal Family: The Comeback,” the original series that aired on ATRESplayer PREMIUM last year, their paths crossed again thanks to the story of the Castillo family, and their lives once again became intertwined. After a tense encounter with Borja Ruano—the man who kidnapped Dora—the siblings join forces in a final confrontation with their common enemy. Now stronger and more united than ever, the family is experiencing one of its happiest moments. Now, Rosa Ruano, head of the new Elephant Clan, tries to ensure that these youngsters with superpowers will keep their potential in check without straying down the path of evil.
