Juanma Navas and Mario Martín Win Awards at the 2019 Edition of the Napoli Cultural Classic Awards in Italy for Their Roles in Series Produced by Boomerang TV

On Saturday, June 8th, Juanma Navas, who plays Don Ramón on “Acacias 38,” will receive an award for his role in the series produced by Boomerang TV at the 19th edition of the Napoli Cultural Classic, celebrated in the Alpine nation.

Mario Martín—who, until recently, played Don Anselmo on “Old Bridge Secret”—will also attend the gala to accept an award for his role on "Old Bridge Secret."

The two Boomerang TV dramas both air Monday through Friday and are huge hits in Italy, where they continue to lead their time slots, drawing an average three million viewers a day.

Juanma Navas—who plays Don Ramón, the head of the Palacios’ household, on the series produced by Boomerang TV for RTVE, “Acacias 38”—and Mario Martín—who plays Don Anselmo on "Old Bridge Secret," which airs on Antena 3—will both receive awards in Italy. On Saturday, June 8th, during the 19th edition of the Napoli Cultural Classic Awards, each of the two actors will be recognized with a TV Internazionale Awards in Nola (Naples) for his respective role in the Spanish productions “Acacias 38” and "Old Bridge Secret." The competitive event recognizes distinguished personalities in the arts and entertainment business, and the winners are chosen by an international jury. Last year, Monste Alcoverro received this same award for her role as Úrsula in “Acacias 38.”

For the past four years, “Una Vita” has been drawing huge ratings in Italy, where it has become a major phenomenon, consolidation its position as a leading product on the Canale 5 network.  The daily drama remains the leader in its time slot, drawing an average three million viewers a day. The series “Il Segreto,” which has been on the air for nearly six years, has also become a social and TV ratings phenomenon, leading its time slot almost daily and regularly drawing some three million viewers with audience shares of over 20%.

Moreover, the two daily dramas produced by Boomerang TV have also traveled to other countries. On April 15th, "Acacias 38" premiered on Canal 13 in Chile, a key private channel in the Andean nation. The series is also airing on PayTV Latam and has been adapted in the Middle East as “Eugènie Nights.” Meanwhile, “Old Bridge Secret” has aired in Vietnam, where it became the first Spanish series to air in the country, and the first Spanish daily to reach Southeast Asia.
