Irene Gil, from David Bisbal's Team, Wins "The Voice Kids" Final
Irene Gil won the trophy on “The Voice Kids” in an exciting final in which she was up against Daniel, from Rosario’s team; Aysha, from Vanesa’s team, and Sofía, from Melendi team. The winner of the show produced by Boomerang TV for Antena 3 started on Vanesa's team before being stolen by David Bisbal. She has made off with a €10,000 music scholarship and the chance to record a single with Universal.
The evening's spectacular performances were followed by nearly 2 million viewers (1,965,000) and a 14.3% share of the audience, leading Friday’s prime time. What’s more, 4,614,000 viewers tuned into the show for at least 1 minute at some point during its broadcast. The show was the first choice among both male (12.5%) and female (15.8%) audience members, as well as among the 13-24 (21%), 25-44 (12.3%) and 45-64 (14.3%) demographics.
By regions, the music talent show led ratings in Andalusia (17.1%), Aragon (14.9%), the Balearic Islands (14.2%), Valencia (16.1%), Castilla La Mancha (13.6%), Madrid (16.5%), and Murcia (18.8%).
The show’s last gala event featured numerous performances by guests artists including Aitana, Pablo López, Álvaro Soler, and Rosana. It also welcomed visits from the four winners of previous editions of the show: Melanie, María Parrado, Rocío Aguilar, and José María Ruiz, each of whom performed the song they sang during the blind auditions.
On Twitter, #LaVozKidsGranFinal became a national Trending Topic throughout the broadcast and also made it to the Top 10 in the global rankings. #Irene, #Aysha, #Rosario, #Melendi, #VanesaMartín, and #MaríaParrado also became trending topics throughout the evening.
