Barcelona, June 14, 2021.- Cofidis, a financial institution that specializes in offering consumer loans and private financing projects, is premiering the web series “Vidas” [“Lives”], a 6-episode video drama that tells personal stories inspired by real-life events. The campaign is part of the campaign the financial institution launched las April to reposition the brand based on the concept that “Dentro de una vida hay muchas vidas” [“In one life, there are many lives”].
The web series will be available on Cofidis' blog ViveMásVidas starting on June 14, the day the first episode will be launched. The remaining five episodes will be screened throughout the year. Each episode will be supplemented with a podcast featuring experts on the subject addressed in the fictional reality and offering advice and resources to help people deal with the life experience in question.
Cofidis is launching this serialized content to mark its 30th anniversary as a way of affirming the company's commitment to supporting people by helping them realize their projects at different stages in their lives. In this sense, the protagonists of "Vidas" share their dreams and explain how they managed to bring them to life. They'll also describe all the hardships they had to overcome since first feeling compelled to realize those dreams, everything from their fears and doubts to the turning points they encountered and the final decision to carry out their initiatives.
With this project, the financial institution hopes to offer valuable content to consumers while increasing brand awareness and recognition as the first place to turn when seeking financing for a personal project.
“Vidas” kicks off with the story of Marta and Silvia, a couple in their thirties that met at university and decided to have a child. In vitro fertilization was the best solution, so they went for it. After several unsuccessful attempts, they are now a family of three. And like Marta and Silvia’s story, the series recounts the experiences of other people of different ages. But all their stories have a common denominator: the desire to carry out a personal project and embark on a new stage in their lives.
To supplement the web series and further explore the topics covered in the stories featured on “Vidas,” Cofidis has also created a series of 30-minute podcasts in which various experts will answer the questions posed by readers of the ViveMásVidas blog and users of Cofidis' social networks. Based on the various topics covered and using testimonies and real-life cases, the specialists will offer advice and tips to help people successfully carry out personal projects.
According to Anna Golsa, Director of Digital Business Experience and Marketing at Cofidis: "'Vidas' is a fiction that is full of reality. Many people will identify with its protagonists and their stories, as they experience moments of hope but also confusion about the new experience they've set out to have. In short, our intention with 'Vidas' is to give our audience a glimpse of human experiences that are based on everyday life and reflect that restlessness that we all feel throughout our lives to continue evolving.”
To promote the web series, Cofidis has created a social media campaign and paid social and branded content in the mass media.
The 6-episode series was produced by BTVMedia, the digital content division of Boomerang TV, creator of such renowned series among Spanish audiences as "Physics or Chemistry," "Acacias 38," and "Plastic Sea” and producer of shows such as "The Voice" and "Love Island." As part of its firm commitment to making branded content and creating innovative productions that combine various formats, BTVMedia has created "Vidas," a drama that faithfully conveys Cofidis' values.
